Q4 #2

The image from the time magazine was something very disappointing for me. It shows that very little has changed since from the 1960s to current 2015. The way I interpreted the picture was that a black man was running from almost an stampede of policemen. The black man doesn't seemed armed at all, so he doesn't look like a direct threat. Also, he's covering his mouth and nose, which I think he did to protect himself from tear gas. This is very sad because it shows that not much has changed in terms of racial prejudice. This isn't helping the image of blacks or policemen. A lot of prejudice is present in our society because of something one person does. Its not fair that an entire nation of people get blamed for something one extremist person does. If one policeman does something morally incorrect, it is NOT justified to blame thousands of other people. People should only be responsible what they do themselves. They shouldn't have to deal with the hate that comes with the action they didn't do.
